My Favorite Coffee

Never was much of a coffee drinker, till I discovered Indonesia Sumatra. So rich and flavorful, it's the perfect way to start every day. Always worth the investment in such a lively and aromatic coffee blend.

Sumatra is one of my favorite single-origins (the other is Brazil), and this Beans & Beans coffee reminds me why. Honestly, I was skeptical when I opened the bag because I'm used to Sumatra that is roasted slightly darker. Well, I became a convert after I brewed some (I made an Americano) and drank it. It's important to note/remember that coffee from Sumatra is very different than non-Indonesian coffees. Sumatra coffee has a very heavy body typical of dark roasts WITHOUT THE BITTERNESS of dark roasts. It has low acidity (aka "brightness. ") The sweetness is muted.

Really good. Has a nice nutty flavor. I might need to keep some of this in stock as one of my primaries that I cycle through.
