A Pleasant Surprise

So far this summer, it has been unseasonably HUMID and HOT. I'm an older gentleman whose hair has thinned out to peach-fuzz on top! I ordered the hat because I was getting tired of getting sun-burnt on top! My initial impression upon receiving the hat was dismay that the hat's crown had no structure to it. "Just" fabric with air vents built in. My second concern was that the hat was a little tight on my head. These concerns quickly evaporated on my first outing with the hat. My first surprise came when my hat held tight after an unexpected gust of wind, My next surprise was the realization that I had NO PAIN from sunburn. I can also attest to the fact that the hat's fabric stood-up to being soaked in my perspiration with no staining while keeping me from over-heating, Too bad the rest of me did not do as well. And finally, I was surprised at how effective the black under-brim was in improving my visibility. Yes, i can recommend this stylish and lightweight hat to everyone!

The hat is exactly what I expected. The brim is wide, and firm enough to hold in the wind. The material in the crown area is light weight, which I prefer. My wife immediately like the shaping of the brim, which does a great job of keeping the sun out of my eyes and off my face and neck. Great for gardening, golfing, or walking. I have a melon-size head, but the size I ordered fit well. All in all a perfect hat for for me.
