Classic Strawberry Gateaux

I was not disapponted as the cake was as delicious as expected. What was disappointing is the delivery which left the cake on the floor outside and on opening of the box the cake was leaning to one side which meant the presentation of the cake disappointingly squished. I wont be using the delivery service again

Lovely surprise cake!

I ordered the strawberry gateau cake to surprise my husband after his book was published. It’s his favourite cake and we had one at our wedding reception along with a chocolate one instead of a traditional wedding cake. He was thrilled when I brought it out at a family tea party yesterday.

Perfect Summer Cake!

This strawberry Gateau is amazing…having tried both the previous recipe (with frozen strawberry and glaze) and the new fresh strawberry version! Only downside to fresh strawberry version is that unless you are eating the cake straight away once defrosted the strawberries did go slightly soggy, but the cake was delicious!
