Dr. JB's Clean Hummingbird Feeder & Hummer Helmet

So Cool!

I just love this humming bird feeder with helmet. Was looking for something modern and funky to hang on the front porch. It looks so good, now I just need the hummers to find me at 9,000ft. (Also, great customer service when I had a question)

NOT A DRIP!

Dr. JB's Clean Hummingbird Feeder has proven to be drip-free, even during windy weather, which means fewer ants and no mess on the deck, which we love! Hopefully this, along with it being all red (no yellow) will also discourage the wasps in the Fall. And the bright red Hummer Helmet is eye-catching while providing shelter from the rain for the hummingbirds. This is a great combo! Emptying the feeder itself took a little getting used to. Since the reservoir is filled with nectar, you can't just flip the feeder over and unscrew the reservoir without a big wave of nectar flowing out. I take the unit to the sink and tip it drain the nectar out of one of the ports before unscrewing the base; it seems like a top fill would be easier, but I'm not a hummingbird feeder designer! I do appreciate the two piece base that easily pops apart, making it simple to clean properly. I'd like the option to buy just the feeder so I had a spare to put out while one was being cleaned. And I must say how impressed I am with The Birdhouse Chick! This was my second order and both were processed quickly and arrived carefully packed along with a personalized selection of literature to help attract out feathered friends. Thank you!
