Gumbo File
Anyone who grew up in Louisiana knows Gumbo File is one spice only. Sassafras Leaves' ground up to a powder. Added to Gumbos and soups at the end of cooking for thickening and flavor. Dose not have any Thyme or Marjoram in it or mixed with Sassafras.

Authentic!
Makes great gumbo. As a Louisiana native, I make gumbo regularly with this spice. I highly recommend it.
