I like the picture quality the lense produces, good colour capture, and the focus and f stop adjustments are straight forward. It’s a fun lense but the lense cap needs rethinking as it is constantly falling off. Fortunately it’s metal, so easy to hear, but an BBC annoying design fault.

Very cool but…

I’m loving this lens and the surreal depth of field you can achieve. It’s a very expressive and creative lens. The one and only disappointment I have is that there are no filter threads to fit a polarizer or an ND filter. This lens has enormous potential as a long exposure tool or a time lapse lens but the lack of filter threads limits this to low light situations and stopping it down negates the purpose in the first place. There are probably filter adapter solutions out there that I haven’t found yet(?). Either way, loving the lens and the system and I’ll be expanding my collection soon.

So many options!

So far I and in love with my Edge 35! It has so many ways to truly create a one of a kind image and really capture what you’re hoping to achieve, and more.
