Edge 50 Optic

Beautiful optic

I had the edge 35 and wanted something just a bit different for certain situations. I’m enjoying the optic quite a bit. The bokeh is really unique and lovely and it works as a beautiful addition to my lens collection. I love that I can swap the optics on the optic swap system and have multiple focal lengths at my fingertips with very little weight and camera bag real estate. Awesome purchase!

New Edge 50 Experience

I received the Edge 50 over Christmas....with some not-so-subtle hinting. My overall impressions have been very good with its substantial build quality and beautiful clarity, especially when keeping the optic straight on. I am still very much in the learning curve for "finding my slice", but making progress. I started wearing glasses fulltime a couple of years ago, and finding a sweet focus spot with the optic that came with my Composer Pro II was a real challenge. However, I am finding it easier to find focus points with this new optic. So, at this point I would say I'm loving it. John

Cool new toy

It takes a bit of practice to get used to the lens, but once you do, you will love it.
