Ohmkat was the perfect fix for a Simplisafe doorbell setup in a house that has never had a doorbell. The Ohmkat allowed me to circumvent that issue and rely on the "bell" in the base station, which works for us. My utility knife slipped when I was getting creative with the old alum w/s and cut the Ohmkat wire pretty badly. My fault. I talked to someone on their site and said, "we'll send you a replacement, no charge." I reiterated that it was my screw up, but he said "we'll take care of it." This is old school customer service.
