Xerjoff Renaissance

Stellar fresh citrus opening with accents of sweet mint and white florals. Unfortunately on my skin this was quite short lived and died down to a skin scent within an hour or two. I did try this once at Saks (thought performance was ok)but never did get a sample. There has been a lot of hype on line about how well this performs for a fresh fragrance but that was not my experience at all. I guess everyone’s skin is different. I purchased this bottle during a 30% off sale which is why I made the purchase without a formal trial/sample. If I did pay full price I would have been pretty disappointed. The presentation is top notch and the scent is beautiful albeit short lived (for me). I would recommend sampling before purchasing especially if paying full price. I do think this is a great scent but performance is a real downer. I am hopeful that there may be some improvement as the liquid oxidizes within the bottle with more use and enhances the performance. If you are interested in this I would also recommend sampling Nio - A Bergamont, Neroli, and vetiver fragrance which does share some of the same citrus vibe but performance is better in my opinion. I will definitely shop at Twisted Lily again as their service was very good especially considering the recent lock down.
