Worked great, I will buy another. The flexible plastic is really the right material so it conforms to the shape of the hull vs DIYing a piece of aluminum. We'll see how long it holds up, but I expect it to last. The hardware with sealing washer is nice and the correct length.

Simple and effective

When I ordered the SmartTrack rudder kit for my '01 Old Town Nantucket kayak, I thought the pedals were a good height. Once installed however, it was clear they were not. The Vertical Adjustment Kit (VAK) made finding the correct height easy. The flexible nature of the VAK "plate" means it conforms to the curvature of the inside of the hull nicely.
