Simple yet effective

Full disclosure, my parents are bi-lingual in Chinese and English, but I thought the card game would still be a great conversation starter between my son and his grandparents, and a chance for him to practice pinyin. We played in the car on a road trip with my parents, and everyone loved it. My son asked my parents reading the pinyin, my parents were able to decipher what he was asking, and then they answered in both Mandarin and English. After 3 cards and everyone taking their turn, my mom (who is sparse with compliments...shocker) said "that's a clever game." High praise!
