The bare root Flavor Grenade arrived looking great

The bare root Flavor Grenade arrived as a sturdy young tree, well branched and in excellent shape. I do the "Grow a Tiny Fruit Tree" method so I felt a bit bad cutting the top growth back by nearly 1/2 to do this, but the buds are swelling and it looks just fine. Looking forward to growing the closet thing to an apricot that this central Oregon location can support.

Tree was okay ish...

The tree I received was fairly small diameter with almost no branching. The tree was dormant and probably shipped way late in the season for my area. I would loved to have received it mid March but it wasn't shipped until mid May. Roots were ok, far from amazing but not horrible. We have been watering it but it has yet to bud out. My other fruit trees had 6 inches of new growth before this one even arrived. I am hopeful it survives but still a little disappointed.

Another beautiful bare root tree from raintree. The tree is already blooming. It looks great so far!
