A Kids Book About Divorce

A fun book but maybe a few too many pages

It was good, and really helpful for understanding divorce and differences in families. But at the end the kids said they kept thinking it would end soon but it kept going 😂 probably partly an issue with Theo age and interest level. But we’re grateful for the thoughtful explanation, it deserves the number of pages it got I think!

Thoughtful Conversation Starter

This book approached the topic of divorce in a sensitive way without talking down to children. It doesn't delve super deep into any of it (which I thought was perfect), but rather explains a basic overview of what divorce means and - in particular - what divorce for a child and gives space for the parent to continue the conversation when the book is done. Great for when you're ready to have this conversation, but are unsure of how to start.
