Organic Haitian Blue Mountain Direct Trade Coffee

Not great

I have heard so many good things about Blue Mountain coffees from Jamaica and Haiti, but for me this just did not hit the spot. I brewed similarly to what I usually do in a vacuum pot, and it was just weak and not much aroma. I have had a different Haitian coffee before, and it was awesome. Haiti does not send much of its coffee out, so getting Haitian should be a real treat, but for me, it just didn't wow me, especially for the price. Now I may be being a bit harsh, as I just finished the Burundi, which has to be one of my all-time favorites. It had much more body and a fantastic nutty, chocolatey finish. I will try a finer grind, more steeping to see if I can pull more flavor from these beans. If better, I will update this review.
