Not As Good as Envipod

Truthfully I bought the bag of ground to spend enough to get free shipping (without using my accumulated points) to brew in a French press. It’s OK, but in fairness, either I have not yet mastered the press, or not a big fan of the press—maybe both. It almost tastes a little stale. To me, this blend just tastes better in the envipod. I do like FRC and supporting small business.

Bold, Smooth, and Easy to Drink

Really enjoyed this dark Mexican roast. It has a rich, full-bodied flavor with the darker roast profile I prefer, but without tasting burnt or overly bitter. The acidity is low and the cup stays smooth from start to finish. It works well as a daily coffee and holds up nicely with cream, though it's flavorful enough to drink black. If you enjoy bold, dark-roasted coffees with a clean finish, this one is definitely worth trying.

Best Coffee that I've Swallowed

I was preparing myself for the usual let down. Coffee companies are full of hype and no taster. Was I surprised! From low expectations to actually drinking a shot which triggered my taste buds into screaming for more. I have given samples of the Organic Mexican Dark Roast to two people. One has already ordered two different types.
