Nice kit, I got mine with the 4' Firestik Firefly and quick disconnect. It looks almost factory with the hood mount, I did not run the coax through around the door jamb as shown in the directions, rather I cut a amall opening in the large grommet that goes through the firewall and put the cable through there, (just behind the brake pedal of my 2018 F150). Looks much cleaner than running the cable around the door. I can't tune the antenna better than 1.7:1 though on channel 1 and channel 40, but it gets 1:1 on 19. I'm pairing it with a Uniden Beartracker 885 CB/VHF/UHF trunking scanner.

Everything was great. My only concern is the aluminum mount is very flexible. That’s a lot of stress with a four ft. antenna attached, I’m not sure how long the mount will last. I wish it was made of stainless steel.

Mount works as expected. With a 4’ firestik it seems a bit wobbly but doesn’t bend while driving. Easy install with no drilling required.
