I appreciate the lock tie laces. The shoes seem to run on the smaller side. I wear a solid 7, sometimes 6.5 and these fit snug as a 7. Can't wait to try on a course.

Amazing for Sprint/Super, not Beast

I LOVED these shoes during my Sprint and Super races, but they gave me bad blisters about 4 miles into my Beast to the point I had to take them off and finished the race in my socks (HIGHLY recommend the mudgear socks, as they solo carried the race for me). Someone told me they work for the Beast too if you go .5 a size up since your feet swell from all the water/mud on a Beast course, but not sure how accurate that is or how it'd affect a Sprint/Super race. They were really great for me before this, but now I'm very wary of using another pair for any long race.
