Signature 8-inch Slicing Knife

The msrp of this knife was 89.99 on sale for 44.99 and I was lucky enough to get a 30% off coupon to make the total with tax and shipping under $35. At that price it is a decent $35 knife. I would have been extremely disappointed if I paid full price for it though. The photos make it look like it is Damascus and at the original $89.99 I would have expected it to be. However it is just a stainless knife with what looks like laser etching for the pattern. In the hand it feels cheap. It cuts like a new knife should. So I guess we will see how it holds its edge and how it sharpens when needed
