We have had expandable Mr. Peanut's carriers for both of our medium-sized cats for several years. They are very high quality and the cats are much comfier with the "wings. We have two cats, and travel often with them. Having two big pop outs is essential! Great quality, and the single mesh allows us to see them.

Expandable carrier pad

This fits great into our expandable carrier, then folds up nicely to. The middle section of the pad has a firm insert than will help keep the carrier in shape. One could always place a small folded towel in this section for extra cushion if wanted. The pads were reasonable in cost and they were shipped very quickly.
