Took off slow, but then went berserk
Since the yeast was in a slurry, I omitted the yeast starter. The recipe is the Westy 12 clone. I was worried because there was little activity for the first 24 hours. After the first day, it took off like gangbusters and went pretty hard for at least a week. The recipe says to let it sit for three months or so, but I bet it is ready now after four weeks. I only gave four stars because I haven't tasted the beer yet...
