Dead Ringer® IPA All Grain Beer Recipe Kit

Water ratio seems a little low. With a false bottom, should I fill that up with water before o counting quarts per pound of grain? Just bottled today 6/15 so we will see how things turn out. A little early to know or survey. I greatly miss the ability to come to a store front and personally grab what I need. Even grind my own grain makes for a good time. I once made up a recipe by consulting with some of the people in the shop for what I was looking for. It was a great experience, putting our heads together. and it paid off with a blue ribbon. It was a variation of Kentucky Bourbon barrel, Ale, using real bourbon, wood chips, and a number of other ingredients that we put together.

Ordered cause I have made in the past. Good beer. Ordered this time cause was on discount and prices are so high. Comes exactly as recipe says if you know what you are doing in all grain. Would order again.
