The strengths of the No. 2 lie in its details: the heritage leather hides scuffs and develops a handsome patina over time. The refined square toe is subtle and unique. And the stitching is a nod to the petroglyphs in Big Bend National Park. ...

Great boots highly recommended
Bought a pair that was 11 1/2 D, and I couldn’t even get my foot all the way in the boot. Sent it back in exchange for a size 12 EE, and the fit was great and really comfortable. The exchange was easy, and the hardest part was waiting for the new pair. The look and quality of the boots are amazing. Very happy that I pulled the trigger on these.

I pulled into a cozy parking lot, walked to the front of the store and felt at home as soon I entered the establishment. It was very close to closing time a quarter to five pm (4:45 pm I was stuck in traffic longer than expected) I was the only guest in the store & was greeted shortly after I walked in by Juan who offered me a cold beverage. I declined as I did not want to waste more of his time because it was so close to closing time. I had done a lot of research on the types of boot styles Chisos offers and made a decision on wanting the Chisos #1 in brown, I also wanted to try on the Chisos #2 for a comparison of comfortability. Juan has a lot of patience. Not only did he give me a detailed explanation of the difference between the two boots, how each color will fit differently between black and brown because of the curing process. He also walked me though each fit, told me what to expect with the “break in” process, Juan also let me try on one black boot and one brown boot at the same time so I can make the best decision for my feet. I need you to stay with me, the next part is a bit much. I also mixed and matched, one brown #1 boot on the left foot, one #1 black boot on the right foot. Then I switched. Next I tried one brown #2 and one black #2, next I tried one #1 on the left and one #2 on the right. Throughout the entire process, Juan was right there telling me how things should feel. I wanted to go with the black #1’s but my right foot didn’t feel comfortable. After that process, I ended up going with the dark brown Chisos # 2. At first I was skeptical about their “sneaker like comfort” but these are the most comfortable boots I have ever put on my feet. I can’t claim this will be the case for everyone, just my personal experience. I would like to publicly thank Juan for his knowledge, experience, and walking me through the process also staying 40 minutes after closing time. I tried to make my decision as quickly as possible. Thanks again!

No 2 look beautiful, zero break in time, most comfy boots in my collection. I have nothing bad to say. Much easier to put on than my tecovas
