Using this instead of a cream moisturizer

I am not sure if I am using this correctly. I use after the Aloe Herb Cleanser and after the Rosemary Toning Mist. I use this instead of a cream moisturizer from another company. I am happy with it, especially in the winter when my skin gets so dry. I live in the humid midwest, so I do not need in the summer.
