Celestron NexStar Evolution 9.25" Telescope

We bought a Celestron Nexstar Evolution 925 astronomical telescope from here in late July 2021. We haven't used it yet as it's been too cloudy. We were very impressed with the service we received by email prior to our visit to the shop (we live in Wellington). Alex was great to deal with via email. When we visited the shop Alex was very helpful and very patient with our never ending stream of dumb questions. He helped us decide what was going to be the best telescope for our needs. We can't wait to have a fine night to start looking at the stars!! Would definitely recommend Jacobs Digital.

Great telescope

Had my Celestron Evolution 9 25, a couple of days, but cloudy and raining today, been trying everything out till I get a fine night so getting used to it, a very fine telescope indeed, came in 2 big boxes, and even though it comes with instructions, did not need them. The telescope is well built and a good soild tripod, just need a good night to test opticals, but setting up the finder, the hills in CHCH looked good. One thing i suggest is ditch the cheap red dot finder, better off with a good optical finder. I would say the 9.25 is possibly the biggest cassigrain you would want to handle alone as its big to get sliding in the divetail. Anyway, you got the money this is a great high quailty scope. Its also got the Starlight coats, so gives better light transmission. Also Once again Jacobs service is A+ and received my scope very quickly. Thanks Jacob Digital for your great service. Added my starsense to my scope.
