Ancha 2014 - Anhui Fermented Tea

Ancha 2014 is like a rich and soothing fog

I have placed three orders with Eastern Leaves for about 20 different teas. I have found all of the teas to be of high quality and the website descriptions to be helpful and accurate. The Ancha tea is one of my favorites. It has a very rich and complex combination of flavors that is so well balanced no single flavor stands out. When I drink the tea I experience it like a mouth full and feel akin to a rich fog--very smooth with some sweetness and inducing feelings for me of peace, soothing and a rich mellowness; an excellent way to start any day. FYI--Other favorites of mine from Eastern Leaves include: Qimen Zongzi, 2017 Ancient Trees Shupu Yiwu Terroir, both the red and green jasmine teas, and 2023 Ancient Trees+Pu'er Shu-Yiwu Terroir.
