Slow start then kablooey!

Used this for my NB Kolsch extract kit. Pitched the yeast but noticed no activity for almost 24 hours. Super weird for a liquid yeast in my admittedly limited experience. Then it started bubbling. Then for the next two days, it blew out my airlock! Still lots of foam after fermentation finished. Swirling helped to break down the foam cap. Haven't tried it tasting the brew yet but everything smells fine. Got a nice settled layer at the bottom.

Great yeast for a great beer kit.

Used this yeast to make a starter to use with the Kölsch extract kit. It has turned out to be my favorite kit that I’ve made so far...and I’ve made over 20 different kits!
