Beautiful but too narrow in calf

Absolutely gorgeous boots, beautifully crafted. However, they were quite narrow in the calf, so I had to return them.

Almost Perfect

These were everything I wanted when I opened the box. The color’s beautiful, the heel is very comfy and manageable. I was SO EXCITED to wear these for my wedding in October. I even squealed We had some shipping hassles from FedEx not at all related to Vintage Foundry, so I was extra relieved and excited to get them on my feet!! Except I went to put them on and, a little tight in the toes but that’s manageable I can break them in. So I go to zip them and they’ll only zip halfway! I loosened the laces; which is no short feat, I totally untied them even: the tongue is just way to narrow to really adjust it in a meaningful way. I don’t necessarily even have very wide calves, I’ve never had to specifically buy wide calf boots. But these were WAY WAY too small for me unfortunately. I sadly can’t recommend these if you have any kind of muscle or anything on your calves and I will have to return them which breaks my heart honestly.

So comfy, and the calf is just right for me (usually the calf is too big). Have worn them on long walks without a break-in period, and my feet are happy. Excellent quality.
