TheraLite Aura 10,000 LUX Mood & Energy Enhancing Light Therapy Lamp

Love it!

This light is working great to make me feel more energetic and less lethargic. Low light has affected me more as I age. This year it hit me extra hard. It's too cold and there isn't much sun where I live. This light is just the right size and I can use it first thing in the morning to reset my whole system.

I feel better already

I bought the lamp to get a head start on seasonal blues. I sit under it every morning while I drink my coffee. I feel better already!

For the price, the Aura is a good desk buddy

I purchased an Aura lamp to use as a desk light for my home office and another for my adult son to try as a wakeup lamp. The lamp seems sturdy and we appreciate the adjustable angle of the lamp head. The wide base makes a great "perch" for our small clocks. The light itself is bright and steady (no flickering observed so far). For the desk, it also helps with those early afternoon virtual meetings, providing both light therapy and background lighting. The one drawback we have found is the way the touch-button controls are set up. It would be nice to have the lamp come on at the desired light setting. Instead, touching the power button "ramps up" the level of brightness until it stops at the highest setting. Then you can adjust it downward from there. Whether for waking up or for desk work, reversing the setup would be preferred: start at the lowest setting and press the "+" to increase the brightness.
