Worst possible customer service

The website said the gray and green canes were in stock. I ordered both, and received an email that both had shipped. My card was charged for both. But there was only one cane in the box that arrived (11 days after Carex said they fulfilled the order). Carex said the green cane was on back order and was expected 6 weeks later, but it was their policy to charge my card for it anyway. I would not have placed the order if I couldn't amortize the shipping costs over two canes, and I needed them promptly. I have never encountered such a lack of communication about the availability of items, or about policies, in the years I have ordered online. I won't be ordering from Carex again!
