Talleyrand toilet seat riser

Received the product that I ordered very quickly after ordering. I have used carex products in the past. I have always been satisfied, however this last riser that I received has a very rough almost cracked area where the top meets the bottom. I had sent an email earlier but have not received a response. I hope that it will last without cracking but I have never seen this in any of the products I’ve ordered previously.

Carex raised toilet seat

I don't know how I was able to stand from the toilet before I received the raised seat. I ordered the hinged seat and it is so easy to keep clean. Now I should order the arms for the seat but I don't know which to order. Could someone help make a decision. Thank you so much. Martha Todd
