German Ale Yeast - Imperial Pilsner

The Imperial Pilsner, was brewed, a little late due to a Midwestern storm delivery delay, was all double grain bill of 2-row, Saaz and the German Ale Yeast, used because of the low flocculation / lower temp fermentation (55 degrees) and high ABV% tolerance. It's not quite finished "lagering" yet, (but, as life would have it, some of it got tapped, and is absolutely delicious at 9.5%. Will be happy to use this again and again for this most delicious brew!

Great products

We received a beer kit for Christmas. Delivery was before expected. Beer was started yesterday and we look forward to consuming it. We have ordered from Northern Brewer before and their products are excellent. Will definitely order more kits!
