We used these seeds for cover crop in an area that seems to struggle. All the seeds seem to have germinated and looks healthy. We also tried sprouts for humans. It seems the seedlings are not bitter and can be used on salads.

Once again, the groats are hard to find and trueleaf never disappoints, what ever seed or grain I’m looking for

Excellent sprouting buckwheat groats

These groats are among the best sprouting groats I have come across. For those who sprout their groats for 2 or 3 days and then dehydrate them, these are excellent. Groats I have bought from other suppliers, often have a rotting smell as they grow and significant percentages of the groats don't sprout at all. The sprouts from True Leaf groats smell fresh the whole time (with a rinse every 12 hours) and virtually all the groats sprout. Top quality.. I hope True Leaf keeps its groat supplier in the future....they are not all equal in my experience...
