Perfect!

I'm 6' tall and was concerned it might not be long enough, but it is. I hung it between two trees near my driveway and am loving it! I had to buy a fly for it, since it "fills up" when it rains.

I already owned one of these hammocks that I used in Colorado on a backcountry solo elk hunt with a bow. I wanted something I could carry in my pack if I got on to some elk. That way I didn’t have to hike all the way out and back in early in the morning. Was able to throw it up quickly and stay close to the herd. Didn’t have a underquilt, but the 500lb rating allowed me to stay fully dressed and somewhat comfortable. But I saw the price browsing around the internet and bought 2 more just to have. Happy with it 100% and it held up without issues..

Best hammock for big tall people

I've owned two of these and just bought several more for my kids who are all 6 ft tall or taller. In fact, I handed down my pro to my nephew and bought the next level up from Grand Trunk, the one with the tent pole spreaders for the bug net. After 1 trip I replaced it with another pro, which is the better of the two, IMO. I am amazed at how well these hammocks hold up over time. My SB Pro has been on numerous 10-day trips in Ontario and it has never failed me. There are a few things I do to improve the hammock, though, and I have to think if the engineers used their own product they would improve these themselves! The first PITA is threading the elastic cord through the bug nut loops. This can easily be avoided, speeding up setup considerably, by threading a few small plastic clips onto the cord. Once you do that, You can just wrap your cord around the trees and then clip the loops onto the sliding clip that you put on the cord. And the biggest drawback to these hammocks, and the only reason I replaced my Pro after 8 years, is that the stuff sack is mostly mesh. Once you shove your hammock in there for 8 years the mesh starts to fray and rip. I really wish they would put a more sturdy stuff sack on the hammock with compression straps. That would be awesome. But, these complaints are minor considering the cost of this hammock and how amazing it is to sleep in. It's longer and wider than most on the market at a price that blows the competition away. I wish I knew it had a lifetime warranty! I bought one for my son a few months ago and he immediately flipped it upside down landing in the bug net and it ripped a big hole. I threw it in the trash and bought a new one. Oh well, still very happy
