TUSQ Saddle by Graph Tech Model # 9044-C0 Acoustic Compensated 1/8" L70.75mm

Satisfactory replacement saddle for my Gibson Hummingbird

I wanted to lower the action on my Gibson Hummingbird accoustic guitar but preserve the original bone saddle. This TUSQ Acoustic Saddle Compensated 1/8" L70.75mm (PQ-9044-C0) was a replacement fit. After sanding the base of the Tusq saddle down to the desired height, it fit perfectly in the bridge slot. I'm satisfied with the results but I find no noticable change in tone - acousticly or electricly.

Perfect Replacement with Wonderful Experience

This is the second Tusq saddle I have installed, and it was an easy installation that resulted in a much better sound from my guitar. I will not hesitate to use Tusq again.

Purchased to replace a saddle in a J-45

The saddle fit perfect no trimming needed, however the bevel on the top of the saddle is opposite of the original saddle from Gibson. After you replace the strings it takes a while to get it in tune. Other then that it appears to be working fine.
