Alphasew Sewing Machine Motor 1.5 AMP - Montgomery Ward URR 185, URR 188, URR 385, UHT J272

The wiring on the old motor was dry-rotted/disintegrated. Now the machine is cared for and not neglected. Oiled, new working foot pedal and she is purring. It is a shame when the old metal machines are not valued.

The motor, pedal power cord and belt were a good fit for my needs. We did have to trim the really long bolt ends that extend out the back of motor though. The top bolt was in the path of the belt! And the prongs of the power cord for the motor would not stay in the outlet attached to the new pedal cord. We had to remove the ccover on the outlet and bend the V connections to make a tighter fit. Glad my spouse is pretty handy to have around and knew how to fix that! The machine now runs great! Thank you :)
