Nomad Burled Walnut Ring

Love the ring!

So I originally deleted the email that asked to leave a review, as I often do. I went back into my deleted emails to find it, the ring is that much better than the generic ones. I have had many cheaper generic silicone rings in the past, but liked the warranty so figured I’d give it a try. The generic rings wear out down over time and often feel slippery and slimy after showers, or applying lotions and sunscreens. Even just washing my hands I would have to remove the ring and dry it off underneath to avoid the weird feeling on my finger. I have been wearing the Groove ring for a week now and most time I forget it’s even there. Light, comfortable, never feels slimy or slippery. Texture of the material is much nicer than others I’ve tried. Love the ring!!! 10/10 would recommend.

They Keep Shrinking

I want to love this ring and this company. Their variety and selection of colors/styles is better than anywhere else I've seen. However, after purchasing 3 of these rings in size 11, each one in approximately 10-12 months starts shrinking...they don't crack or tear but the material seems to get stiff and then the ring shrinks, up to an entire size, to the point where they are unwearable. This has happened 3 times now, and I feel I've given Groove Life a fair shot. Maybe that's their business plan, "disposable rings" after a year. They aren't expensive at $42 with shipping, so maybe I shouldn't expect so much out of them. But it's a PITA to keep coming back every year and ordering a new one, and expecting it to last...the definition of insanity. Maybe this is industry standard, but for me it's time to try a new manufacture.

Feels like cheap plastic

I have purchased many Groove Life rings over the years and have been very satisfied with all but this one. I have worn the Copper ring for at least 9 years. I have had it replaced a couple of times. I have purchased other style rings also. The copper ring has been discontinued so I went with the Nomad Burled Walnut Ring. I just got it today and it feels like cheap plastic.
