I converted to groove rings for safety on some of my more active hobbies. A slippy/stretchy ring works for my aging joints and avoids hazards with my hands. Last month, I travelled to Los Angeles, and went in the ocean at Santa Monica. It was a lovely experience being tossed and turned by the waves, but when I exited, my two year old solid moss green ring was gone. I looked around but didn't see it. I hope someone finds it, and at the least it isn't hazardous to sea life. The good news is, it was easily replaced with a very cost effective order and my new ring arrived, and feels exactly the same. To me this is the best part of the groove life ring. It is so cost effective to replace that I don't need to worry about it ever.
