Trying a safer option

I’ve heard the warnings about not wearing a ring when working around machines, (Engine work, Woodworking , Auto body) I have been fortunate to not learn the hard way and decided on a safer option rather than push my luck,, other than not being a solid ring it feels the same I might try one of the thicker rings, but I’ll be keeping this one.
