My Beautiful Hat

I bought this hat for my summer golf. It shades my whole face. It is to replace the one I had which lasted for years. I hope to get more in different colors.

Jaunty and Fun

I wore this hat on the weekend and it coordinated well with my summer outfit. It's high quality and has enough of a brim to protect from the sun but not so large as to be in the way. The blue is a beautiful clear light-ish blue. Highly satisfied!

A New Old Friend

My black Scala Upturn hat had been my go to hat for several years. On it I had pinned a beautiful marcasite bird pin. I lost them at a theater when I stood up forgetting that the hat was in my lap. I looked for a replacement for several months, and then found the same hat on the Scala website. The new one is much stiffer than the old, and a bit larger. But, the look is right, and I feel confident that this new one will be a trusted friend in time. I am still looking for the right pin to adorn it. I imagine the stiffness will subside as the hat gets more and more involved in the folding, stuffing, and wearing of my daily life.
