Overall, good product. Could use some improvement. I dislike the fob, one button for all actions is lame. If there was an option for a different fob, I missed it. The harness to module connections were tough to install because there was very little slack in the harness. The wires are stretched tighter than seems practical for something designed for production and long term use, especially when the end user is installing the kit. Other than that, works great so far!

Not really 100% plug and play for all vehicles

I bought this with an understanding that it was ‘100% plug and play.’ That is not the case. Still haven’t gotten it hooked up due to several days worth of waiting for an answer to a question that isn’t covered in their video. The installation video didn’t even show my vehicle, (2003 4Runner) it showed an fj instead. Same wiring, totally different interior. Seems like a decent product, just misleading about installation.

The support was key to making things smooth

I was unlucky enough to have a 4runner that was NOT plug and play. Had to use the purple wire which had to be spliced in the most difficult place but found a way. Then I hit issue #2 and I had the dreaded "green plug" for brake hookup so had to cut harness and do the hardwire option. There was no info in the vid or guide and I was ready to lose my mind but I called them and Zach explained what to do and even sent me a diagram where to hardwire it. Kudos to Zach as that saved the day. (Hopefully they add that diagram to the installation guide as it would have saved me calling them.) After all that it was straight forward and I had starter working perfectly in another 30-40 minutes. Without their support this would have been a bad review but they came through and it's only been a week but everything is working perfectly. Remotes work perfect and all is good. I have no problem recommending them and their products to anyone now. My advice to anyone else is be patient, read instructions carefully and watch vids a couple times before you start to wrap your head around the process. If you get in a jam relax and think it through and if solution doesn't come to you just call them and ask for some help, they are busy but will get you back on track I am sure.
