Brilliant Collar

I've got a female cat who is a formidable hunter. But she has not been able to kill a single bird since I bought the collar more than a year ago. She did loose one, which I guess is a good thing, since she may have gotten caught on something and was able to get away. She doesn't mind it at all, now that she is used to it. The first day I put the collar on her she kept running from one end of the house to the other, which was quite entertaining, but she didn't mind it at all fairly quickly. I do still limit the times she is outside like early morning and in the evenings when the birds are feeding. Thank you BirdsBSafe for coming up with such an awesome collar!

Cute cat, safe birds!

Pepper is a recent addition to the family home. We think cats should be able to enjoy the outdoors but they need help being good neighbors sometimes. After 3 bird kills within a few weeks of each other, we knew we needed some support. We found Birds Be Safe in an internet search. Pepper now sports the colorful puzzle edition. It is comfortable for her and after almost 2 months of wearing it, no more birds have met their untimely demise. Easy to wash, easy to see with the reflective trim. Pepper is happy. We are happy. Seems to be working

When I purchased this collar, my male cat was bringing a minimum of a bird a day into the house (mostly finches). He has worn the collar for 3 weeks now and has brought a hummingbird in the house (which I was able to rescue and put back outside.).
