Too tiny to survive
I had great hopes that the pink and red ginger plants I purchased would shine in my garden in Laguna Beach, CA. I have tried twice in the last year to grow these plants. All 4 plants died over a 2-4 month period. I repotted in premium potting mix in 3-inch pots, watered carefully, and gradually introduced them to the sun. These "baby plants" were only 4-5 inches tall and arrived in a 1.5 inch pot. I believe they were too small to survive as there were no visible roots when i first potted. I believe they needed more time in your greenhouses to become established enough to survive.

Seems frail
I've grown gingers from rhizomes before, the stem and leaves were thicker. Not sure how well this will grow as it seems frail and thin. The delivery was fast and I appreciate the free palm plug. However, I'm not sure if I'll buy again unless l I see this plant thriving.
