Pure White Queen Summer Cover

On March 1st I received my sumptuous Summer Cover. As usual the quality of linen did not disappoint me. I was however disappointed in the whiteness of the cover or lack of. I thought if I washed it it might brighten up. After 2 washings it still looks more like a very pale butter. Previously I have purchased 1 Smooth Linen table runner and 2 Smooth Linen bed sheets both in white. The Summer Cover is definitely not the whiteness of sheets and runner. I wonder if it was from a different shipment?
