Bluetooth upgrade.
I recently sent 2 vintage radios to Retro Radio for upgrades adding Bluetooth. The work was very professionally and carefully done, and they work like a charm. They were very carefully repackaged and a quick turn around back to me. No Way could I be happier with their excellent work. If I could I would rate them 6 Stars but I am limited to 5! A great way to re-purpose vintage audio electronics!
I have purchased several radios from retroradiofarm with the MP3/Bluetooth option and I highly recommend it for those who appreciate the warm, organic sound of a tube amplifier. This kit gives you the option of listening to the digital media on your smartphone (or other Bluetooth equipped media device) on your vintage radio. You can connect your device directly to the radio using the supplied 3.5 mm audio cable or listen wirelessly from up to 30 feet away using the the detachable external Bluetooth receiver. The Bluetooth receiver has an internal rechargeable battery and will give you 3-4 hours of wireless listening before needing to be charged by using the supplied USB cable to connect to your computer (or other USB power supply). A vintage radio is great to have around as a conversation piece in your home or office to begin with, but imagine how you can impress your friends and co-workers by playing your personal audio files through a device originally intended to receive only AM radio broadcasts!
