Right equipment for the job

I wanted to mount my antenna on the front of the jeep to try and give more of a plane for the antenna. The recommended fender mount does the job quite nicely. Starts with a quality stainless that fits perfectly onto existing screws on the fender and continues with the correctly sized 3/8" hole for the antenna base. Definitely recommend and already referred another offroader to use on his vehicle.

GMRS Antenna mount

I’ve had roof rack mounts but had to lower it every time I entered or exited my garage. I’ve had rear mounts, but same problem and antenna is surrounded by fiberglass instead of metal. This hood mount makes total sense. The large metal hood will help to optimize my range and no garage door worries! This product is very well made, sturdy, and barely noticeable. Easy to install on either side of the jeep into the existing bolt locations under the hood. Highly recommended
