Half Dome, Merced River, Winter

This picture arrived in record time. It was wrapped so well it took me longer to get Half Dome out of the box than it took to hang it. I have climbed Half Dome twice and this picture captures it perfectly. I will order from the gallery again in a heartbeat.

There is nothing that comes close to the stunning definition and contrasts captured by Adams in the Half-Dome photo I purchased. You can almost feel the beauty I had not intended to spend hundreds on a “picture”, but it was money well spent. Although it won’t be hung until my Christmas wreath over the mantel is put away, there is no doubt that it will be an attention-getter. The framing is sturdy and the matte crisp and unassuming. I already know I am going to purchase again!

I bought this art work for my son and he loves it. It looks beautiful where he hung it.
