I’ve been using a like Mike for 6 years. My wife stole ii from me so I was forced to by a like Mike 2. I’ve been shooting it for a week and I love it. It’s a slight step up from the original. It literally has no finger travel. For me eliminated any trigger punching. Definitely worth money. And the customer Service with S&S Archery was top-of-the-line as well.

Best release I’ve ever shot. I don’t have to reach my index finger out to shoot like my old release with tip of finger. Old release I wanted to punch the trigger. Little Mike 2 I can adjust trigger tension and can get finger wrapped around to second knuckle and squeeze with back tension. My groups have gotten really tight. S&S answered all my questions and got release in a week. Thanks guys Randy

Excellent Release

I primarily shoot a Sliver Back, (tension activated release) but I don't like it for hunting, in the event I come off the safety with too much pressure on the back wall and it fires too quickly. However, I like a release that can be fired by pulling through the shot and the Carter Like Mike 2 is PERFECT for that type of shot activation. You can set the trigger pressure to match your needs and it's super easy to adjust and very smooth. Once you get the trigger set, you can wrap your finger around the trigger without any concern the release will fire too quickly. In addition, the jaw hooks in easily and the minimal profile allows the D-loop to release without any side pressure which greatly improved my accuracy. (the hook is almost 90 degrees to the D-loop,,,it's not like other releases where the D-loop is buried in a U-shaped hook) I love this release. I think you will too!
