WONDERFUL QUALITY!
It was with some hesitation that I ordered this messenger bag : firstly because it is a costly item, and secondly because I live in the UK and the delivery and customs charges were extremely expensive. I was concerned that if it was not up to my expectations, it would be troublesome to return it, although I was reassured by the returns policy on the website.
The delivery was very speedy, and my fears were quashed when I opened the box : the quality of the canvas, the leather, and the metalwork is superb! The design, and the number and positioning of the pockets, is excellent. Truly splendid workmanship!
In short, I have been searching for this bag for ten years, and I am so pleased to have finally found it. Thank you so much for the great work that you have done in creating such wonderful products.

Great bag
I bought this for my new job to use as a laptop (and misc stuff) bag. Initial impressions are its great. Seems to be very high quality, I've only had it a few weeks but it looks like it'll last decades, and its a timeless design. It is a heavy bag, which to me is a sign of quality and thick materials, but if you are weight conscious keep in mind it has some heft to it.
Will certainly buy other stuff from this company.

Good bag. Handsome, and looks well made. But I suggest a few design revisions.
Suggest design revisions:
1.The key loop appears to be installed upside down. The leather part sticks up, curls over with hook hanging down, intruding into the space where you put file folders, books, etc, and gets in in the way. Either attach it with the metal hook hanging down and flat against the separator, or move it to a different location altogether. I removed it completely by carefully cutting the stitching with a razor blade.
2. Decrease the size of the leather on the cover flap, and use leather on the bottom of the bag. The canvas will wear thru a lot faster than leather, particularly if you work outside and put the bag down on concrete or gravel surfaces as I do.
3. The $35+ luggage tag is way too large for use on this bag, and way too heavy. This is a light-weight bag, and that's one reason I wanted it; there should also be a smaller, perhaps half the size, light-weight luggage tag.
None of this changes my admiration for the bag, but I do suggest these design "tweeks." They will make a good bag even bettter.
