King Brown Original Pomade

My boyfriend used to use Layrite but complained the texture was too thick and difficult to wash out. I was tired of him using all my good shampoo so we tried king brown and it holds his hair much better with a relaxed but tight hold instead of that stiff cement he used before. Also saved me on shampoo. Thanks king brown!

Perhaps Just Sir Brown

The hold is a bit heavier than what I’m looking for and it is rather gummy. You have to be really careful not to get a glob of it in some part of your hair. The smell and packaging are pleasant. I wish it didn’t have petroleum products in the formula.
