Proline Max Floating Fly Line with Overhang Marker

I’m a beginner at flyfishing and my casting needs a lot of work. Bought this on a whim and spooled it up just to see. I’d been using some cheap stuff that came pre-loaded on a starter combo. But the difference this line made to my casting was nothing short of miraculous. Just a simple pickup and laydown cast will shoot an extra twenty-five feet in my not-at-all capable hands. False casting? Don’t expect to do so more than once, and make sure you have a heck of a lot of room, because this stuff just flies off the reel. Incredible.

Floating Fly Line

I started researching fly lines after coming home from spending the summer at my place on a remote river in Alaska. I had bought some cheaper brands the previous years and they were all terrible. I read about SUNRAY lines and waited for them to go on sale and bought the PROLINE MAX. When it arrived I spooled it up and did some casting in the yard. Needless to say I was quite impressed. I tried a couple of high quality lines from US companies and neither of them approached the Proline Max for distance. So now I have 12 new SUNRAY fly lines in my dresser that are going up to Alaska with me this summer so I can re spool all my reels. Great price for the lines too

Made me a better caster

I ordered the Proline Max Floating Fly Line 4 wt with Overhang marker. I only lawn cast it but could not believe how easy it was to cast to more than 40-50 feet if needed. It formed tight loops and very accurate. Can’t wait to try it on the water when temps warm up some more.
